Happy Friday, foodie friends! Can you believe we’ve officially made it to the end of September? How and when did that happen? Although we won’t lie and express our sincere gratitude that the month has come to an end (considering we had disruptions like Irma and we saw our friends in Puerto Rico and Mexico go through some really tough times) it feels bittersweet that we’re coming to the end of 2017. But there’s always good news to celebrate! In our case, the extension of Miami Spice in Miami until the end of October – heck yes! We’ll continue our #MiamiSpiceMonday series as well so that you can keep considering your options, but in the meantime we leave you with our Friday link pack and wish you an amazing weekend!
If you’re like us, planning a vacation is usually based on two important factors: where to eat and where to sleep. Once these bookends are established, the rest of the itinerary somehow seems to fall into place. So, when we were asked by Yonderbound, a new travel planning and booking tool, to take a look at their website we thought it was a great opportunity to try and bring together our love of food and travel.
Happy New Year! We’re so excited to be launching our new blog in 2014! We met as co-workers seven years ago, have worked at three different jobs and traveled the world together, and our friendship only continues to grow.
Setting out on this endeavor has been a long time coming, but it was only a matter of when. It’s the physical expression of collaboration, camaraderie, love for the city we call home, and mutual passion for food.
