This Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year. With 151 million people having shopped over Black Friday weekend last year, there’s no doubt that many of you will be heading to some sort of mall or shopping center this year. And you know what you’ll need to do ensure you don’t shop ’til you drop? Eat!
Happy Friday, foodies! We made it through another week, which is especially meaningful for Mel because that means she survived another Latin GRAMMYs week… Congrats! For the rest of us, we’re starting to feel that end of year lag and counting down the days until our holiday breaks (even if that just means a couple of days off). Luckily, the first of the season’s big holidays is coming up next week with Thanksgiving. Be sure to check out our South Florida Turkey Day round-up (ICYMI) if you’re still looking to make plans for Thursday. Also, look out for our Mall Food post next Wednesday for some Black Friday dining recommendations. In the meantime, we’ve got some fun things for you in our Foodie Friday link back below. Enjoy!
Foodie friends, despite the outcome of last night’s election, we still have a lot to be thankful for today. There may be a lot of question marks in our future, but one thing we do know is that our favorite foodie holiday is right around the corner. Yes, it’s time to stop focusing on politics and start focusing on where and what to eat on Thanksgiving. To that end, we’ve gone ahead and put together a brief round-up of local South Florida stores, bars, and restaurants that have your back on Turkey Day. Whether you need help with menu planning, catering, alcohol pairings, or are just looking for a relaxing place to go out and have someone else do everything for you, we’ve got you covered. Enjoy!
Guys, it’s November! We can hardly believe that we’re fully in the throes of #HalloThanksMas, but such is life. This is a pretty intense month for us at MMTM Headquarters with Mel furiously prepping for The Latin GRAMMYs show in Las Vegas on November 17th and Mitch recovering from his brother’s wedding last weekend and heading out on the road for a few work trips as well. While we may not be around much, there’s actually so much taking place that we’ve separated out a special Thanksgiving round-up that we’ll have for you next Wednesday. In the meantime, here’s our round-up some of the best foodie events taking place this month. Enjoy!
Happy Foodie Friday, friends! We made it through another week and we’ve been bouncing around all week discovering new menus at old favorites and new restaurants that will soon become favorites. Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves at how lucky we are that we get to feast with the sole purpose of telling you all about it! So we’ll give you all an early “thank you” since as true foodies, we’re already in the Thanksgiving mood. As a token of our appreciation, we leave you with a fun foodie link pack. Enjoy!
Foodies everywhere, feel free to rejoice. Today we celebrate the first Foodie Friday of November, which basically means the Mecca of American holidays is very close – Thanksgiving. It’s an unforgiving day for those of who love to eat. There are very few things that will ever top food, family and friends – in no particular order, of course. As we begin to celebrate the month that officially kicks-off the holidays, we leave you with our first November foodie link pack and encourage you to dream up the holiday feasts that will soon arrive. How blessed are we? Enjoy!
It’s Foodie Friday, bitches! Not only that, but it’s the last Friday before Thanksgiving! Question of the week: are we going all out foodie adventure this weekend or are we hibernating to save our calories? While you mull it over check out some of our favorite foodie links from around the web.
Thanksgiving… Arguably, America’s #1 foodie holidays. A day to relax, reflect, give thanks, and EAT! While Mitch heads up north to Maryland, Mel will be holding down the fort here at home in Miami. Regardless of the location (and weather), there are a few things our celebrations will most definitely have in common: family, football, and food. However, even though we’ve both got our plans set, we know that many of you are looking for a place to go out to eat because sometimes it’s just easier to leave the cooking to the professionals. So we’ve put together a quick round-up of some of the Magic City’s best Turkey Day deals and menus. Whether your prefer to dine in or take out, be sure to make your reservations or place your orders now…before it’s too late!
