Happy Friday, foodies! We hope you all had an amazing week and are getting ready for the cold front that’s about to cool us down this weekend. It’s such a perfect time of year for you to pick an outdoor lunch spot and have an extended glass of wine to soak in this delicious winter weather. We at MMTM headquarters are busy during this time of year to keep you updated on all the foodies happenings around town, but, as we do every Friday, we first want to share some fun links from around the web to help kick-start your weekend. Enjoy!
Hey foodies, hope you all had an amazing (short) work week and that you are ready for the weekend once again. We sorta love everything about Januarys in Miami, don’t you? The weather is the envy of America and our every day pace feels a little slow as we transition into a new year; it’s always one of our favorite months. Have you been to any good restaurants lately? It’s definitely busy season in Miami, considering above said weather. If you haven’t, don’t fret! We have an exciting line-up of reviews in store for you and can’t wait to share them as the New Year continues to roll in. In the interim, we leave you with a few fun foodie links from around the web!
Hi foodies! Welcome to the first Foodie Friday link pack of 2017. We can’t help but feel that this will be an incredible year given the solemn events of 2016. There are so many things we’re excited about in the Miami foodie community and we’re just stoked to be sharing these with you on our little blog. We hope your year is off to an amazing start and to help you kick off the weekend plans with this perfect “winter” weather, we leave you with a few fun foodie links from around the web. Enjoy!
New Year, More Food.
That’s what we’re all about. 2017 is here and “season” in Miami is in full swing, which means lots of new restaurant openings, special offers, and the beginning of an onslaught of foodie events to last all winter long. As is custom, on this first Friday of January and the first Friday of the new year, we’ve compiled a round-up of some of the happenings that will be going on around town this month. Enjoy!
It’s officially the last Foodie Friday of 2016 and we’re feeling a little nostalgic. This year was a bit of rollercoaster for us. We had tons of high moments, but there were also plenty of crappy ones that were really darn low. However, the one consistent thing throughout the year was how awesome and loyal the foodie community continues to be to us, and we’re so thankful to you! We’re taking a week off to regroup and come back full force with more foodie news in 2017. In the meantime, we leave with you with some fun foodie links from around the web and we wish you and your families a great holiday season and a prosperous 2017! Something tells us it’s going to be an amazing year!
We finally made it to December and the holidays are upon us! It certainly is the most wonderful time of the year, especially for us foodies. The Thanksgiving appetizer is behind us and we’re ready to dig into the main course with Art Basel and Miami Art Week hitting their stride this weekend. And, we can’t forget the extreme amounts of lechón that will be entering our lives come Christmas and New Year’s (with a side of Hanukkah potato latkes for Mitch). As if that wasn’t enough, there’s still plenty to see and do, eat and drink this December in the Magic City. Below is our monthly round-up of what the month ahead has in store for us here in Miami. Enjoy!
Well folks, 2016 Thanksgiving dinner is now under our belts. We hope that you were able to spend some quality time with friends and family and bond over some delicious turkey. Some of you may be hitting up the malls today for shopping deals. If so, don’t forget to check out our post from earlier this week where we tell you all about mall dinning and where you should be making some strategic pit stops. In the meantime, we leave you with some fun foodie links to help you through the long holiday weekend. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving once again – we are so very thankful for you!
Happy Friday, foodies! We made it through another week, which is especially meaningful for Mel because that means she survived another Latin GRAMMYs week… Congrats! For the rest of us, we’re starting to feel that end of year lag and counting down the days until our holiday breaks (even if that just means a couple of days off). Luckily, the first of the season’s big holidays is coming up next week with Thanksgiving. Be sure to check out our South Florida Turkey Day round-up (ICYMI) if you’re still looking to make plans for Thursday. Also, look out for our Mall Food post next Wednesday for some Black Friday dining recommendations. In the meantime, we’ve got some fun things for you in our Foodie Friday link back below. Enjoy!
Welcome to the first Foodie Friday of November! We can’t believe that 2016 will soon be a distant memory (but we’re really kinda happy about it.) This has been a tough week for most of us. We don’t want to amplify what you’ve probably been reading on Facebook for the last few days, but we do want you all to love a little bit harder this weekend. To tell a stranger that they matter and that they belong. And if by any chance you see a little girl, let her know she’s worthy and beautiful and she may just be the next President of the United States of America. Also, treat yourself to a cheat meal. A really good one. We all deserve it after this week. And, with that, we leave you with some non-political Foodie Friday links. Enjoy!
Guys, it’s November! We can hardly believe that we’re fully in the throes of #HalloThanksMas, but such is life. This is a pretty intense month for us at MMTM Headquarters with Mel furiously prepping for The Latin GRAMMYs show in Las Vegas on November 17th and Mitch recovering from his brother’s wedding last weekend and heading out on the road for a few work trips as well. While we may not be around much, there’s actually so much taking place that we’ve separated out a special Thanksgiving round-up that we’ll have for you next Wednesday. In the meantime, here’s our round-up some of the best foodie events taking place this month. Enjoy!
