Foodie Friday

This is an extra special weekend around MMTM headquarters because our co-founder, Mel, is marrying her longtime fiancé (and best friend) this weekend!!! As so, we are in Cartagena, Colombia celebrating love and, of course, celebrating food (we will both be eating unlimited amounts of arepas.) Mel might have stressed out about the menu a bit more than she’d like to admit, but the big day has arrived and we’re both pretty pumped. We hope your weekend (wherever you may be) is also filled with tons of love, food and family. Don’t forget to check out the festivities on our Instagram account as we attempt to document the beautiful walled city of Cartagena! Also, enjoy our weekly round up on fun foodie links (with a slight bridal inspiration.)

Hey foodies! It’s officially Valentine’s Day weekend and Sunday is the big day! For us, that basically means another excuse to stack up on sweets and make dinner reservations. However, to make things sweeter for you, we’ve gathered some Valentine’s Day inspired foodie links to share with your sweetheart. We wish you a weekend full of love, cocktails, and of course food! Enjoy!

So at the expense of sounding extra cheesy, we’ve gathered some of our favorite Valentine’s foodie links from around the web. Enjoy the weekend and have a few dozen chocolates in the name of love (and food.)

Valentine’s Day Foodie Friday

It’s the day of love, and this Foodie Friday is dedicated to all things Valentine’s. It’s a day of glory for American consumerism…and love.

At MMTM, we like to hibernate at home with our significant others, as we’re a tad bit hesitant of the long waits and pre-fix menus. That said, our cynicism allows for it all: cheesy Valentine’s Day cards, the L-word and the infestation of all things red and pink. We’re also lucky enough to spend this day with people we truly love and can’t imagine life without (moment of mushiness.) So here’s to champagne, cheese and lots of chocolate!
